The Festo extension adds Festo I/O hardware to AutomationView. It registers Festo as a manufacturer and populates the Equipment Catalog with Festo CPX-E remote I/O modules and a VTUG valve terminal.

If the extension shows an API version mismatch error at startup, update AutomationView to the latest version.
Once installed, Festo components are immediately available in the Equipment Catalog.
The Festo extension registers equipment catalog data only. It does not add translation providers or export formats. Use it alongside a PLC-specific extension (CODESYS, Rockwell, or Siemens) to generate code for your target controller.
