These commands manage the template library. You can save files or full projects as templates, apply them to new projects, and organise your library with folders and categories.
Copies the selected template files into your current project folder.
To run this command:
You can also right-click a template and choose Apply Template, or run the command from the Command Palette.
Saves the currently open file as a user template. You choose a name and category during the save process.

You can also click the Save File as Template button in the Templates panel title bar.
Saves all files in the current project as a single template. This is useful for creating project-level starting points.
To run this command:
This command is only available when a project is open.
Removes a user template from the library. Global templates cannot be deleted.
To run this command:
Opens the selected template file in the text editor so you can modify its content.
To run this command:
Opens the .json metadata file for the selected template. The metadata file stores the template name, description, and category.
To run this command:
Reveals the folder containing the selected template in the system file explorer.

Opens the search box at the top of the Templates panel and focuses it, ready for you to type.

Clears the active filter and shows all templates again.

Opens the folder management dialog where you can add and remove template source folders.

Re-installs the built-in global templates to their original state. Use this if you have accidentally modified or deleted a global template.
