¶ How to renumber and encapsulate steps?
Organize step numbering and hierarchy directly on the Sequence Editor canvas.
- Select the steps you want to renumber on the canvas (or select all steps in a branch).
- Press Shift+R (or right-click the selection and choose Renumber).
- Enter the starting number and increment step to renumber the selected steps sequentially. All transitions and step references update automatically.
- Select two or more connected steps on the canvas.
- Press Ctrl+G (Cmd+G on macOS) or right-click and select Encapsulate.
- AutomationView groups the selected steps into a sub-sequence container.
- Select an encapsulated group on the canvas.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+G (Cmd+Shift+G on macOS) or right-click and select Flatten to inline its steps back into the parent sequence.
