To create a new project in AutomationView:
Using the welcome screen:
On the AutomationView welcome page, click New Project. This opens the project gallery, where you pick a project template to start from.
Using the project gallery:
The gallery shows the available project templates (such as "Empty Project"). Pick one and click Use this. AutomationView prompts for a target folder and a project name, then scaffolds the files - typically a machine definition, a starter sequence, and a Python entry point.
Using the Command Palette:
Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P).The project gallery only lists project templates. Sequence and machine templates are applied separately through the Templates view - see How to apply a template?.
