AutomationView: Validate All Addresses checks the current address assignments and shows a notification with the result. It reports two kinds of problem: address conflicts (the same address claimed by more than one variable) and unassigned or unresolvable variables (assigned to a channel that does not exist on the equipment). Almost always, the variable / channel link is incomplete or stale.

A variable was never linked to a physical channel, or two variables resolved to the same address after the equipment list changed.
Work in this order:
If a conflict keeps showing after you fixed it, run AutomationView: Refresh Equipment Catalog and validate again. If it persists, open the Machine editor and check that no two modules have overlapping address ranges.
